When we first got a car seat I installed it the way I thought it was supposed to be, which was wrong. I faced it front because I thought my baby would get dizzy as he watched the outside going the other way.

After some Googling however, I realized he should be facing the rear, and so I (reluctantly, thinking I knew better) did the same. It said so on the car seat manual and on several references on the Web, so it took a while to sink in.
