Went there yesterday, saw this:
aaand that’s it basically.
This is the Mercedes – AMG GT S, a 510hp V8 powered beast, with an 0-100 kph of 3.8 seconds and a maximum speed of 310 km/h.
Oh and there were other cars there too. Such as Toyota’s sexy new FT 1 Concept Car
For the more run of the mill stuff, here’s the Suzuki Ciaz, which is a dead ringer for a certain Toyota we shall not name (it’s the Vios).
And here’s the new Mazda MX 5, which according to its website starts at P1.6m, which is a realistic price for a nice sports car like this. I have a LOT of thoughts about this car, at that price possibly the only sports car in the world that can be a realistic reach for a guy like me, but that deserves a new blog post or two for later on.
At the front lobby area where they were displaying vintage cars, there was an immaculate ’86 Peugot:
and to me, the most interesting of all, a 1960 Mazda R360!
It’s got Cito Beltran’s name on it, making him one of the people I’m hoping to meet in my lifetime.
Sorry if you were looking for the latest and greatest stuff. The old stuff is really what’s interesting to me, with the outrageous stuff, like the Toyota Concept Car, the MX5 and the AMG 2nd.
For the rest of the Toyotas, Kias, Mazdas and such, check out the gallery:
